Introduction of ADPOLY substrate

General description ◆ ADPOLY is an adhesive resin developed by Honam petrochemical corporation. ◆ ADPOLY is modified polyolefin grafted by functional monomer on the main chain back-bone of    polyolefin which promote adhesion with different materials. ◆ ADPOLY has similar property of polyolefin, this can be used for numerous application such as    multi-layer bottle, film, pipe, and/or coupling agent. Characteristics ◆ strong adhesion → ADPOLY strongly adhere to metals(steel, aluminum, etc.), gas barrier resin(Nylon, EVOH, etc.)    by thermal reaction. ◆ long durability → ADPOLY has long adhesion durability after the treatment of boiling and aging. ◆ polyolefin-like property → ADPOLY retains physical properties such as heat resistance and chemical resistance because of    its polyolefin based copolymer. ◆ good process-ability → ADPOLY can be easily processed like any other polyolefin the following processing.    - Bottle/tube/pipe/sheet process    - T-die/o-ring die/blown/cast film process ◆ Compatibilizer or coupling agent → ADPOLY can increase the mechanical property polyolefin with filler (such as glass fiber, wood    fiber, etc.). Application of ADPOLY 应用 ◆ As a adhesive resin, ADPOLY can be used for tie layer in numerous application. Co-extrusion with    gas barrier resin such as Nylon, EVOH into tube, bottle, sheet and film provides barrier to    oxygen, flavor and odor permeation so can be used for food, cosmetic package, and etc. ◆ Also as a compatibilizer, ADPOLY can be used for polymer compounding with inorganic filler and    alloy with other polymer.
